Welcome Newest St. Andrew’s Alums: Class of 2014

It is official! The members of the Class of 2014 are now alumni of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School.
This year, we were too big for the tent on the green, as graduation moved inside Founders Hall. Our task was to transform a gym that had housed winning athletes and cheering fans to a theatre for honoring outstanding graduates and cheering supporters. The new venue was a success, (without a thought about the possible rain), as we watched ninety-one graduates receive diplomas in front of fourteen hundred proud family members and friends.
01_SASAlumBlog_Class2014_04After diplomas were received, Catherine Chlebowski ‘10, sister of graduate, Claire Chlebowski, welcomed our newest alums. “You are the future leaders of the school, and your involvement with the community will ensure that St. Andrew’s will continue to be a wonderful place to learn.”

And, it’s already time to save the date for an annual alumni event. Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 3rd, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, for the Senior Send-off in the Dell Fine Arts Center. You will be the first to receive a copy of The Shield, the St. Andrew’s yearbook. This is a casual event, so you can linger, trade college email addresses with your classmates, and write your favorite memories in your friends’ annuals.

Thank you to Vince and Sue Totero for working with students to create our excellent yearbook, as well as their tireless production of the thousands of photographs they have taken and processed through the years. They are always there to record the events and daily life that our graduates will remember from their time at St. Andrew’s.

New alums, since this may be the first time you have visited the Alumni Blog, please take a moment to look immediately to the right side of the page. Go ahead and subscribe! It just takes a minute. By subscribing, you will receive new blog articles through your email account. We usually post two items a week during the school year, so your email account won’t be too crowded. It is an easy way to keep up with friends and upcoming alumni activities.

See you on August 3rd, and welcome Class of 2014!
